Calling All Republicans
The Ridgefield Republican Town Committee welcomes fellow Republicans who may be interested in supporting the efforts of the RTC, as a volunteer for its various committee activities, functions, and campaigns, with a view toward participation, in the future, as a full Member. MISSION OF THE TOWN COMMITTEE
The mission of the Ridgefield Republican Town Committee is to promote the ideals and objectives of the Republican Party.
DUTIES OF THE TOWN COMMITTEE
In order to carry out its mission, the Town Committee shall:
A. Seek out and recommend qualified candidates for election to public offices or for placement on Town Committees & Commissions of the Town of Ridgefield.
B. Seek out and recommend qualified candidates for endorsement and election to local, state and national public offices, and as delegates to conventions.
C. Raise funds for the use by and benefit of the Republican Party.
D. Increase enrollment in the Republican Party and encourage electors to vote for Republican candidates for election.
E. Establish policy for the Ridgefield Republican Party and platforms for its public officials and endorsed candidates.
F. Direct and maintain a public relations program for the Ridgefield Republican Party and its public officials and endorsed candidates.
G. Direct and maintain campaign publicity for the Ridgefield Republican Party and its public officials and endorsed candidates.
H. Act as liaison between Republican electors and public officials of the Town of Ridgefield, as well as between Republican Party organizations in other towns and at state and national levels.
I. Monitor the form and function of our town government and recommend appropriate improvements.
J. Monitor local, state and federal legislation affecting the Town of Ridgefield and the Town Committee’s constituents.

We, the Ridgefield Republican Town Committee, seek to advance candidacies and policies which promote fiscal responsibility, limit the expansion of government and champion the triumphs of personal success.
Vision
To work vigorously to ensure that local government is accountable, accessible and responsive to all the people of Ridgefield.
To preserve and enhance the unique character, heritage and quality of life of Ridgefield.
To provide a constructive forum for the expression and sharing of Republican ideals
To gather input from all registered Republicans to strengthen our party and maintain our focus
Strategy
To succeed in our mission we must:
Provide qualified candidates for all public offices (elected & appointed) who believe in and can articulate to the community our mission
Raise sufficient funds to successfully communicate with the Ridgefield Community the positive values of our candidates and mission
Increase enrollment in the Republican Party by demonstrating the positive contribution that the Republican Party provides the Community
Communicate with the Ridgefield Community on a coordinated and sustained basis the benefits that our beliefs and candidates provide
Establish policies and platforms that reinforce our mission
